As many of you hopefully have noticed, we launched crossfitwestchester.com
version 2.0 at the end of last week. This website has been 3 months in the making, so we hope you enjoy it. You’ve probably noticed that there is no longer a mind body login link on the website, for those that were relying on that to sign in (https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/home?studioid=13757
) it’s time to download the MindBody Connect app. We left the link to the website directly above in the event that you wish to take the longer route, but the app will make things a lot easier. If you need help setting up your app, please follow the instructions on the link below:
If you’re still having trouble see one of the coaches and we will be happy to help you out. Lastly, keep yourself up-to-date with all things CFW with the “Gym News” section on the website. We will keep everyone apprised of schedule changes etc. so to make sure to check there periodically.
Fight Gone Bad – Saturday, September 17th:
Each year CFW Kids hosts Fight Gone Bad, a WOD that’s a true test of mental and physical toughness and strength. We use this event as a fundraising and awareness opportunity with donations to benefit a different children’s charity each year. FGB will take place instead of regularly scheduled classes, heat sign ups will be posted and we will be using athlete on athlete judging. Jessica and Mike are still planning the details, so please stay tuned for further information.
Sumo deadlift high-pull (55/75)

Annual CFW BBQ – Sunday, September 18th @ 1pm:
In CFW tradition, we will be having our annual Fall Friends & Family BBQ on Sunday, September 18th. This year Chris’ parents (Leslie and Paul) will open their house to us for the BBQ (unfortunately we could not get Macy Park like in past years). Sign up sheets for items to bring and share will be hung this week on the white board.
Address for BBQ:
23 Pheasant Run Road
Pleasantville NY, 10570
Battle of the Boxes – Saturday September 24th:
BOTB is right around the corner and I am excited to send a team or two of CFW members to compete. I hope to see many of you at CFW Pelham cheering each other on, it really is a great event to represent and support our team. All I ask is that you come dressed in CFW gear. If you don’t already have any, stop by the front desk and check out what we have!
Sweat Angels September:
This September, you can help provide food for rescue animals by checking in on Facebook at CrossFit Westchester! We’ve partnered with Sweat Angels and The Rescue Bank to make it happen. Remember to add #care4animals when you check-in! For more information about this month’s charity, visit rescuebank.org
